# Agent's Task is not executed in multi-agent crew

If you’re using a hierarchical (delegation) process, then your Crew definition should be:

```python
crew = Crew(
    agents=agents,
    tasks=tasks,
    process=Process.hierarchical, # 👈
    manager_agent=coordinator_agent,
    verbose=True
)

```

The hierarchical process has been widely discussed here on the forum. I highly recommend you take a good look at [this other thread](https://community.crewai.com/t/does-hierarchical-process-even-work-your-experience-is-highly-appreciated/2690/8) regarding it.

From your project’s description, it sounds like the steps are very well-defined. I’d suggest you consider using the CrewAI [Flows paradigm](https://docs.crewai.com/concepts/flows). In [this other thread](https://community.crewai.com/t/manager-agent-delegates-task-to-wrong-agent-in-a-hierarchical-process/3179/5), you’ll find a concrete example of using Flows for a delegation process.
