# Installation of CrewAI and CrewAI-Tools

Hello everyone!

I have been trying to install CrewAI and CrewAI-Tools over the past week to no luck!

I have a desktop, and a MacBook Pro, so using Microsoft and MACOS environments, and in both cases did not work.

I wish if someone could provide a step-by-step approach, so non technical people like myself could be able to benefit from this innovative platform. Knowing that I have already subscribed with CrewAI. Thank you to all for taking the time to read, and to help. Kind regards, Nabil

It is a common problem. In the end I needed to use Docker. However it is non trivial. Hopefully CrewAI will release a docker or a server environment we can buy / use

However, the environment requirements changed last year…

It just takes time, however, it is worth it… once you have conda and dependencies down you can do so many other things.
