Hey,

I have been using CrewAI, and right now I am exploring the “knowledge” feature. I am trying out a very simple crew with one agent and one task, and giving it a knowledge_source from a PDF that contains tabular data. I want my agent to search for alarms, and give me back all the fields to a given alarm.

However, I have noticed that, when the name of the alarm is short, the agent sometimes returns information related to other alarms with similar names. When the name is long and “unique”, it returns the information almost perfectly. Is there a way I can fix this?

Good question. I would use a tool and search rather than knowledge which is vector based.

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I also wanted to try out the PDF RAG Search Tool, but it is also vector based. I’m not sure what I should do in this situation.
