Anthropic just announce their new “computer use” functionality that allows Claude to perform actions directly on the user’s computer. This could have a tremendous impact on the agent’s ability to provide value to the user. Imagine having an agent that is capable of logging into some platform and running reports (e.g. Amazon Seller Central).
